"I have the responsibility of sharing my emotions with the community and society; in a world between ancient and modern, in a world without boundary, from East to West. I want to use art as a way to share my feelings, about human suffering and the thirst for love and freedom."

Vu Dung graduated from Hanoi Fine Arts College in 1980 and is a member of Vietnam Association of Plastic Arts Workers. He has many paintings in private collections in Vietnam, South East Asia, Europe and the USA. His work is currently represented in the Museum of Contemporary art in Singapore.

Oil and lacquer are his favorite media. His paintings were exhibited in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Eastern Europe, Vietnam-French Cultural Center in Paris, and Galleries in Paris, Palm Springs, CA, Houston, Texas. His favorite subject is "Liberate the Women from suffering the unfairness of society." He uses art as a way to share his feelings about human suffering and thirst for love and freedom.
